Currently working with:

Studied archaeology in Greece and Norway. Took Master`s in Classical Archaeology at Oslo 1996. Since then working at the Norwegian University of Trondheim as a lecturer and now at the Gunnerus library as a subject librarian.

I am currently working with "Information literacy and technological skills" since they are today essential components of academic research and teaching. Through our university library seminars I can assist you in planning courses that enhance skills of locating, evaluating and using information efficiently. I have organized library seminars on information retrieval the last 2 years for archaeology students.

I am also working in establishing a network of cooperation between faculties and libraries nationally and internationally for integrating these skills into the subjects taught in Universities. By autumn 2009 I will also be working on a project of using e-books in NTNU reading lists for the University library of Trondheim.

Our library is involved in the organising comittee of an international conference in Bergen : Creating knowledge on the subject of Information literacy and diversity in the learning environments of the Universities. Join us there in September 2010!
